Rooted in the unwavering belief in the inerrancy of the Bible, Liberty Community Chapel stands as a non-denominational beacon dedicated to the meticulous teaching of sound doctrine. Our vision is clear: to foster a community where the timeless truths of the Scriptures are upheld, guiding us on a transformative journey of faith and understanding. Join us in the pursuit of spiritual growth, unity, and the profound wisdom that emanates from the teachings of sound doctrine.
RECEIVE – WE HAVE LIBERTY IN CHRIST
RELATE –WE ARE FAMILY TOGETHER:
Everyone would shoulder each other’s burdens, the wealthy would assist the impoverished, the wise would offer guidance and servant leadership, and the stronger would assist the weaker. We believe in Fellowshipping with each other inside and outside of church with integrity and accountability.
“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important,” Galatians 6:2-3.
We encourage the working and growing together through small groups and discipleship plans. As a church our aspiration is to mirror the Love that God has for us, characterized by its unconditional nature.
REACH – WE ARE BOUND BY GOSPEL MISSIONS & COMMUNITY ADVANCEMENT
We love to see our community progress and further in the Joy and Faith in Christ Jesus. We love our local community, our city and Nation and thus we are passionate about doing all within our means to support our city in charitable community service. Additionally, we offer social and fellowship opportunities where you can meet and get to know others better — from our small groups, sporting activities, marriage fellowship, and New Year’s Eve celebration among others.
We hold the belief that the manner in which we fulfill our purpose is just as significant as the purpose itself. Therefore, we prioritize the following core values in our commitment to ethical ministry:
THERE IS ONE GOD
The originator of everything, possessing infinite perfection and existing eternally in three persons: the Father, son and Holy Spirit.
GOD THE FATHER
We affirm our faith in God, the Father—a boundless, personal Spirit, characterized by absolute holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He compassionately engages in the matters of humanity, attentively responding to prayer. Through Jesus Christ, He extends salvation from sin and death to all who approach Him.
JESUS CHRIST THE SON
We affirm our faith in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We acknowledge His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous deeds, and teachings. We embrace His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, ongoing intercession for His followers, and the promise of His personal and visible return to Earth. We assert the essential oneness of His divine nature with God and acknowledge His complete humanity and deity
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We affirm our belief in the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, tasked with convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit’s role extends to the regeneration, sanctification, and empowerment in ministry of all those who embrace faith in Christ. We hold that the Holy Spirit takes residence within every believer in Jesus Christ, serving as a continual Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We acknowledge that Jesus Christ confers the Holy Spirit and power upon the earnest seeker for service, either concurrently with or subsequent to regeneration—distinct from the indwelling Spirit that secures salvation. Our conviction includes recognition of the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit and a commitment to the exercise of all scriptural gifts bestowed by the Spirit, evident in the manifestation of spiritual fruit
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the flawless and authoritative expression of God’s will. Within the pages we discern God’s revelation of guidance for all. It serves as the ultimate and divine authority for the Christian way of life.
CHRIST AND HIS REDEMPTIVE WORK
We wholeheartedly affirm the significance of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection as well as the transformative impact of the gospel for salvation. Our dedication is to deepen our understanding of Christ and to actively share his messages with others.
THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH
We affirm our faith in the universal Church, a dynamic spiritual entity with Christ as its head and all regenerated individuals as its members
